Energy Bills Solution
Gas, coal and electricity prices have in recent weeks risen to their highest levels in many years.
The Energy Information Administration (EIA) is warning homeowners that heating bills for houses will be significantly higher this winter (2021/22) … perhaps by as much as 50%!
What does this mean for you?
Can you afford that?
Carrie Hubbard, from California doesn’t know how she is going to manage.
“I don’t have the money in the bank to pay the bills that are coming up,” she says.
As a single mother of a 1-year-old daughter and a 9-year-old son, who, like her, is asthmatic and at a higher risk for complications from coronavirus, Hubbard is feeling fearful and overwhelmed.
“Rent will be due, the car insurance payment, the phone bill. I have credit card debt … because I’m a single mom and that’s what I have to do to survive,” she said. “I’ve never been late before on my payments. But that’s going to change.”
Carrie is one of thousands of increasingly desperate people across the United States who realize that very soon they will not be able to meet their commitments … even essential outgoings like fuel, rent and utility bills.
